about us

The Annenberg Physician Training Program: Abstinence-Based Recovery from Addictive Disease (APTP) is a program at the Frank Foundation whose primary aim is to train physicians to prevent and treat substance use disorders.

APTP aims to maximize the number of physicians receiving addiction training and to improve health systems through education related to research, policy and public health. This will create systems which support physicians as they work to prevent and treat SUDs. The Program has three (3) main initiatives, designed to Equip, Create and Inspire.
